Jahred Shane — founder of (hed)p.e., the most famous band member. He gave life to very famous rapcore/punk-rock project by merging his band “Live Urban Sex Tribe” and guitarist Wesstyles band “Liquid Tree”. He named himself M.C.U.D. (MC Under Dog) and soon he became one of the best emcees in the world of rock-music.

Since the beginnig Jahred was author of the 99% of lyrics.

On the “Blackout” album Jahred shows his vocal abilities, as many critics say, he far exceeds similar with him vocalists, such as for example Fred Durst.

When the band went through hard times Jahred stared thinking of band dissolution. Meanwhile, he started working on his solo project “Hectic” (“Fenix Jones”).

But in the middle of 2004 Jahred changes plans and invites new guitarist Jaxon and new drummer Moke. In the updated structure the band releases “Only In Amerika”. Jahred overloaded that album with explicit lyrics.

After moving to Suburban Noize Records and releasing “Back 2 Base X”, Jahred says that (hed)p.e. found thier home.

• Jahred raised his dreadlocks within 5 years;
• Jahred very likes: Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Slipknot, Korn, Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Led Zeppelin;
• Jahred great admirer of Bob Marley creativity, which he considers the best musician in the world;
• Jahred very offended at Chad because of his departure from the (hed): “Someone quitting my band is nothing to me”. But later in a telephone conversation with Chizad, he said that he understood him;
• Material from Jahred solo project “Hectic” (“Fenix Jones”) was used in “Only In Amerika”;
• Jahred said that religion helped him stand strong in very hard times of his life;
• Once before concert Jahred was busted for buying marijuana. He was fined for 1500$;
• Lynn Straight, “Snot” vocalist was a big friend of Jahred. Jahred worked on the tribute to Lynn Straight (Strait died in a December 1998 car accident);
• Jahred said why one guitarst is better than one: we have more space in the bus, we earn more money, and it is easier to choose whores;
